I said I'd color it, so here it is!
This is the newly colored version of my original Darth Revan sketch (found here), and I have to say, I've never worked so hard on a drawing before. I really wanted to challenge myself and get better at shading... I hope it shows
.It's been through several revisions... the original sketch was such a liney mess, even I couldn't tell what was what anymore, so I ended up redrawing the whole thing. Hoped that the pencil was dark enough to use as the line art, but it wasn't, so then I drew it AGAIN in ink.
So yeah, it's changed some... her hair is shorter, and the details on her armor are more distinguishable.But enough of my exhausted ranting! I really hope you enjoy this, and please (oh please!) leave comments, and be harsh about it! Because this is (IMO) the best piece of Photoshop work I've ever done, but I'm still getting better. I can use whatever constructive criticism you have to offer!
After this, I think I'm ready to retire...

I do believe this has made me wish that there were more awesome female sith lords! I think that you did a great job colouring/drawing, 1 thing is I wish her hair was longer. But besides that great pic! I'll be sure to show this to my GM for the next time I play my sith!

My Revan was named "Jenn Yass". Say it. It was a joke with my brother, he kept saying i had to be a sith and then he would go, "what is your sith name?". Well i am Master Jenn Yass. (Say it out loud and it sounds like "Genius")

I don't know what to say. Everything that I said about the line art version applies here, only here you have stunning colors involved. Epic. Win. You colored the armor and the lady within so well, and in such an attractive way, while at the same time making it emotional and enigmatic. Yeah. This just rocks DA to its core of Star Wars fan art. Now I'm convinced that Revan could only be a girl. You people helped me see that. I mean, after seeing this, I really wish that it was a girl, because if she looked like this it would be frikin awesome. Nice job.

As much as I support everyone having a free choice in terms of whether or not Revan's male or female, I am glad that my artwork convinced you to go against canon. Well, I'm honored, actually. Artists on DA do seem to lean more towards a female Revan, but still. I think BioWare did want to make Rev canonically a woman, but LucasArts decided against it. Oh well. That's what fan art is for!

This is just pure awesomeness! I love her face but the armor rocks too. The clothing doesn't look as smooth as I'd like because of the thick lines showing through but that's just a personal preference.

I agree with you on that... I'm naturally a sketchy kind of artist, so clean line art is very much a weakness of mine. I probably could have cleaned them up a little in Photoshop, but the coloring was so time consuming.

Yeah, I'm usually too lazy to clean my linearts, too. That's why I paint over them, especially when I'm coloring fabric.
But as I said, it's an awesome artwork, so don't worry about it.

Canon only, but Lucas Arts left it up to the player to choose. That's one of the things that made this series one of the greats.

Dude, don't hate. That's not very nice. Yes, although players have the privilege of setting Revan as whatever gender they desire, they did make Revan canonically male. I know that. I chose to exercise my artistic rights and freedom of speech to make Revan female. Deal with it.

Wow, this is beautiful. The coloring and the line art are great, and I can never get faces to look good at that angle. Love all of the shine effects, too.
