Well December is here at last, not much snow here though. >-> Anyways I wanted to draw Wehrmacht themed picture for some time so here it is. I got way too lazy with the background

You're quite welcome. I'm always up for reviews because it allows me to dive deeper into understanding the piece, its background, and the author. As for the critique points it's quite alright to do something outside of the norm and I like to see takes on this as art isn't meant to be constrained unless the artist desires to do so. Having studied military history for years it is just what I pick up on.
All in all as I've said before I really like this piece, but being who we are we can always improve in one way or another. This is the challenge and as long as my insight helps in some way to reach that desired outcome then I am content. I admit that I definitely envy your artwork and what you can do with it so keep on going and if you'd like further reviews just let me know for future works. I'd be content to provide further insight when I'm not on duty.
I'm definitely envious of your ability as you have some great talent and ideas. I'll make sure to add you to my watch list so I can keep tabs on you for the future. Keep up the great work and I look forward to further responses.

Sounds like a plan then. I try and update as often as I can as well so if you're up for some constructive criticism I always seek it. Limited to paper and pencil, but for starting from completely nothing we shall see what happens.

Yes, he only used Ironsights because he wanted to keep his head low, which is not possible with scopes... Kinda heavy to read what he achieved. o.O

It's a reference to the big relief mission of the tank group Hoth in Stalingrad... didn't turn out well for the German forces. Check it out on youtube, it's a very interesting topic to read.
