Well, Rae last showed up in the "Twilight Zone" parody, where she narrated part of it, and freaked Dark out by disappearing off the plane while in mid flight with him being the only one to have seen her... XD

But I kinda decide to phase Rae out to minor appearances because having her tag along all the time would get tiresome and gimmicky, as well as I'm finding it hard to know that I will have to eventually bring up the fact that Jak is no longer with Rae (because the real Jak had to be put to sleep when he got just too sick and old to be living comfortably without having a seizure every other week and could no longer hold liquids for a couple hours without having an accident because his back legs spontaneously would stop working for a few minutes... T_T )... so it would be either have a fictional Jak I can't have, or have to have Rae explain to Mephy why Jak is no longer alive... and after the junk he and Dark went through, this would just be hard to have me to write, knowing that I have to break Rae's normally goofy character to be so dang depressing for the brief time needed for it, and even then, a simple mention for Jak in the fics now doesn't seem to be big enough for such a great dog he was for me...

So, Rae's kinda been pushed back to minor character status, and the between-us joke reference explanation and I have is that Rae's house was either knocked down in the "earthquake" that collapsed part of the hospital on Dark, or that the Dark Gaia monsters destroyed it among the chaos and she's been forced to relocate somewhere locally (tongue-in-cheek to me having had to have moved at least twice since the stories started.). Or, Shadow just keeps changing the locks, and Rae's been considering using the air vents next time she does show up... XD

You go girl, write that essay!XD I really do like the comments you write. You manage to keep them long and interesting at the same time.

Ah. I just sorta missed her, that's all.

I didn't really think about Jak being gone. I can see where you wouldn't want to have to deal with that sort of situation. Oops.

Or maybe you could just never say what happened to her. Then it would be like the Noodle Incident!

Yeah, I made myself kinda a nuisance neighbor for them, though Mephy and Rouge don't normally mind her (in fact, Mephy really liked Jak, who was also in the fics at one point)... Shadow has found Rae to be annoyingly awkward since the time he met her. XD

That, and Shadow doesn't like letting people inside the house, which is currently housing way more people than there are beds and rooms. There's only one bathroom, too. XD

There was also the time, within a "Twilight Zone" parody (of "Nightmare at 20000 Feet"), where she narrated part of the opening, told Dark flat out that he was in the "Twilight Zone" and shouldn't be talking to the "Narrator", then promptly freaked him the heck out when she disappeared after he looked away and looked back. Bear in mind, they were on a plane in mid-flight, and no one else saw her. And Dark is usually used to "seeing" freaky things, even by the in-universe standards.

Rae just breaks the fourth wall more than Dark, though he has managed to make the actual series narration "voice", which is usually in my style of speaking, fix some plural errors and has interrupted the normal narration before enough to the point that the story teller is flustered at him, even though he doesn't even know about it. He's also commented on how some of the happenings make sense only within a "fan written story", and points out how ludicrous some of the close calls are. So, he kinda leans on the fourth wall. XD

xDDDD Niiiice. I've been playing Assassin's Creed (First and second) lately and whenever I talk about it I pretend Altair breaks the fourth wall a lot by introducing things that weren't around in his time xD
