This is first-rate, top drawer weaponry. I love the varying textures, different levels of glossiness and matte, and how each part is decorative - not a traditional spot on the whole piece. Would be lovely if the wood came as part of it, so it could be hung on a wall / be reaching for it, one could be missing... More possibilities when you include the wood.
This will sell like crazy, one of the only issues I would address is perhaps making the blade just a bit longer. When I imagine lifting this weapon and turning it over in my hands, it looks heavy in the middle and too light at the tip. I believe you could achieve a better balance - but the reinforced forte does contribute to that, I can tell you've considered it.
And I know the pommel and decorative crosspiece are gorgeous up close, but I feel at a distance - even a medium distance - it could appear a bit messy. I'd recommend a little more negative space in there - so you can appreciate the work you've done at any distance and angle - rather than up close only.
It almost appears segmented, like you could separate the weapon between the rubies, and a chain or cord holds the blade to the grip and you can make a bladed nunchuka set - or just "release" one nunchuk to keep people at bay and keep the other one a dagger in your hand for close quarters.
Without a doubt, though, the beauty of the piece outweighs the minor issues I've gone into here. If I were more skilled and prolific with character creation I would buy it in a second as is, but just offering friendly critique. Good luck!

That would be a lovely blade if you could find someone to do it.
