This is a rework of a pictured titled 'Her gaze' a drawing I did back in 2009.[link]
I'd wanted to redraw it for ages. As I needed a couple of extra images for my portfolio I decided to completely rework it. I definitely prefer this one
. That and she's elven :3

You know, I think I prefer the older one. This one just looks kind of flat and lifeless by comparison. Not just because of the lack of shading, but the general style of it.
Tracing over the old version, I feel, takes away from the point of a rework somewhat. If I were to renew a picture, I would want the new one to have its own fresh identity, which this just doesn't. But maybe that's just me.
Also, you didn't take my advice on elf eyes.
