Description The Royal Athasoan Armed Forces have a long tradition rich history that is present in its uniforms.  Every since its formation in the 17th century, the uniforms have had a fanciful look that followed trends at the time.  After the disastrous campaign that broke the nation's economy in mid-1885, the Athasoan Parliament decided on a new uniform and equipment.  By the time the next war broke out, the Royal Athasoan Army had the most practical uniform and equipment of any armed forces, though the Athasoans stayed neutral.  When they were thrust into war during the mid-20th century, the Athasoan equipment and uniforms had seen little development, due to the surplus and damaged economy from an international recession.  By the end of that war, the Athasoan Armed Forces saw an increase in funding, as the growing tensions between The Eutorian People's Republic, and the Empire of Kelinia.  Thus the equipment and uniforms saw a major upgrade, to ensure the defeat of the EPR's threat to the Kingdom of Athaso's sovereignty.

The Royal Athasoan Infantryman would be used as a security force during the early years of the Cold War.  Armed with the OLS-51 bullpup rifle, the predecessor to the OLS-98, it was one of the first few battle rifles and bullpup firearm developed and produced in large numbers.  The BD No. 7 Uniform was apart of the major upgrade in the postwar years, which took a more muted color tone, compared to the blueish green of the previous pattern.  The 1953 Webbing would be the improvement upon the 1943 pattern Webbing, which had the capabilities of carrying both ammunition clips and magazines.  The helmet was the improved MK. II helmet, another improvement on the MK. I helmet design of the Great War and similarly designed helmet covers were issued.  Gas masks were issued, as the threat of an NBC attack or entering an NBC environment, though it is not depicted here.  The same equipment and uniforms would be later supplemented by another update in the 1960s, taking more influence from the many insurgencies experienced in the Athasoan homeland.
