let's talk about Nobuta wo Produce! it is one of my favourite dramas/TV series ever, hands down. it is quirky and serious and funny all at once! and it is all about Being Best Friends. somehow I can never get the trio quite right in drawings, but I write them okay. :] I do wish it was summer!this was originally a sketch from, like, January, but I only just got around to fixing it up and cg-ing; if dA wasn't being dumb and asking me for money, I would request extra critique, because I would really love input? :3
eta: the more i look at this the more the quality seems off?.. new version coming soon?

o_o..... never seen that series but nevertheless this is really good. i really like the girl's outfit especially the pattern in her skirt and the two guys beside her came out well too. the only critique i have would be... the guy with the cute pig shirt.... i think his thumb should be a little bit longer?
but overall i thought this looked very nice. and the background blends in well with your picture

I really recommend it! :] the patterns.. haha, I kind of cheated.. they're all paint fills or overlays xD; but they look really nice anyway, no?
I definitely agree about the thumb.. all of their hands seem weird to me. D: someday I'll be able to draw hands and feet, haha. and I'm glad the background blends in, I really wasn't sure about that.. I was kind of tempted to make it black and white, but the more I look at it the more I like having colour.
