lol...I hope I didn't say japanese bird in the title xDD...anyway, this is my first oil painting...I finished in today and it took AGES... one whole term TT_TT. But anyway, it is sorta boring, but I hope you like it. I did it 'cause I wanted to a) draw cherry blossums and b) use oil paint. It was really fun...and really boring too. Yeah. I can actually claim this one an my own because it's not a copied artwork or image. I created it myself!! YAY!!lol...my camera made it look cruddy =.= meh, i'll change the file later...it doesn't look anything like the xD

I love oils! The only paint that dries slow enough for my slowness at using it.
And it's great how you can jsut htink a scene like this. Whenever I do realism I ALWAYS need a photo of some sort. TwT

They dry too slow for me! XD Haha. I'm too used to acryllics. And I need to practise making colours with oil...a lot

I think the slow-drying of oil paints allows me to be slow at painting. XD

Oil paints are really good for portraits though. I can't do them fast at all so the colours don't blend properly and it makes me EMO INSIDE!!!!
