Eohippus was also called "the dawn horse" .. was one of the early mammals .. and was the size of a dog.
They fourished, and all modern horses today are descended from them.
It is recorded in some place that the horse of Alexander the Great was a throwback to this ancient heritage, because, although he was full sized, he had toes for his feet, not hooves.
Your critter is very interesting in many ways! I am glad you drew him!!
