Description This is a ceramic picture that was on a grave I saw today. It had been covered in glass, but the glass was broken (as was the photograph). I couldn't read this boy's first name, but his last name was Longo. He was 12, and died suddenly while praying at a church in town.

wow...did it say how? when was this it looks 1920's ish. mannn... in grade 8 for part of my english final there was a poem about the civil war and this mother made her young daughter bathe and dress in a white dress and church shoes, braid ribbons into hair and sent her off to church where she'd be safe from the march on the streets, safe from the violence. Some white men came in and shot everyone in the church. I bawled it was so sad and so real. (things like that have obviously happened but to put it on a test i was shocked etc) the last line was something like "innocent babe dressed in white, clothed in purity, lies stained with the red flowers of innocence" it was terrifying and beautiful...i think thats partly where i realized i love macabre stuff. But this reminded me of that..i haven't thought of that in ages. Crazy....makes me want to write a story for him...

It just said "Died suddenly while praying in [the name of a church]". It was back when Kitchener was still called Berlin, but I don't recall if it said when it was (it was obviously old so a lot of the writing was worn down)

Back then, maybe the cause was just "dying suddenly" or "divine intervention", cause medicine wasn't as advanced.

None of those things would cause someone to die suddenly especially if they were healthy enough to go to church and pray. It was probably heart failure of some sort.
