My submission for PeopleofMotorcity's latest mini contest. The premise is "other spark items like the spark staff."Here's the description I put on it on tumblr:
Feel like you don’t have enough PEP in your life?!

An item for every occasion and need!!!!
You’ll never have to deal with those dull, boring regular appliances!

My submission to PoM’s spark stuff weekly competition. As soon as I saw this promp, I thought, ‘What else can carry a charge or turn into a skull?’
Anything.
Absolutely anything.
I was gonna draw a spark toilet, but I figured I had to draw the line somewhere….
The spark things shown here are the fabulous spark alarm clock (better get up by that third alarm or you’ll start off your day with a bang!), the spark toothbrush (will char the plaque right off your teeth!), the unused spark floss, comb and razor, and the spark juicer (in cases of emergency it can double as an electrolytic battery!), as well as the spark cup (it’s just a cup). Just a small collection of the wonderful products Spark Co. has to offer!
Also, not even Mike Chilton can look half asleep right after getting up....In that middle panel with the toothbrush in his mouth I was aiming for the greasy sheen that fluorescent lights tend to give to peeps no matter how photogenic they are....

Well technically it tastes weird because you used mint flavored toothpaste and smeared it in every crack and crevice of your tongue. That there's a SPARK (TM) toothbrush, so it basically kills bacteria with fire.

heh yeah, I was going for over the top. Would you believe that someone on Tumblr labelled this whitewashing? I wonder why?

that's where you take a person of color and make them white instead. Some people do it unconciously, because they like the color pallet better, because they are uncomfortable drawing POC etc. I've taken care to keep Mike nice and tan like he is in the show, but some people seem to think that if you don't keep his exact original color pallet, make him darker skinned than he is, or pretend that he's muslim or some other minority ethnic group, you are whitewashing him. I don't really get it, but I think it's some social justice thing on tumblr.
A group of people, some educated, some just really crazy people who seem like angry, opinionated people who haven't done their research, who go around raising awareness for other ethnicities/cultures/sexual or gender preferences. My experiences are limited, but all the social justice people I have seen seem like angry, narrow minded assholes who cant see past their own short sighted version of events. The ones I have seen are very frustrating people (at least in the motorcity tag) who incite lots of arguments and negative feelings in the fandom.
