Hey there, all! This is a painting I started in September and just recently found the time to finish up. I got around 75% done with it and then kinda just forgot about it, haha.

The character is actually the same one from my walkcycle animation ( [link] ). Don't ask me what she's reading or why she's looking out the window so despondently, 'cuz I don't know myself.

I've thought this for awhile, but I think that I tend to focus too much on rendering stuff in my paintings and I forget bigger elements of the piece. I tried to work out of that crutch a bit with this painting, but it's still going to take a lot of work.

Anyway, enjoy!

Oh, and I sincerely hope this doesn't look completely janky on your monitor. One of the two (or both, maybe) of my monitors has really weird color settings, and I can never tell which one's relatively normal. A painting produced on one looks like super saturated garbage or really washed out on the other. :/
