Description
Finally got something done!A little interpretation of a nice walk around cloudsdale lit up by the lightning lamps in the clouds over the city.
Was quite fun to paint this as it gave me every excuse to just throw colours everywhere and also the fact I got to paint more clouds!
Still took way too long to complete as its been about a week since I started it, but at least it's somewhat done.

Ok. Let me just start with WOW! This artwork is amazing! You showed true creativity and passion for art. You used great technique for this and showed how great of an artist you really are. Although I haven't seen that much of your artwork, seeing this makes me want to see more beautiful pieces like this one! I don't know what else to say than WOW! I could never draw as well as this and I don't think I ever will.
I love how you can see the sunlight coming in through the clouds. I love all the detail and shading. Nice job!

This is an amazing piece! The clouds look amazing, which can be a bit difficult to do. They have a swirly, painterly feel that itsn't necessarily realistic, but looks stylized and serene. (Though, I don't think that you were aiming for a photorealistic look, so that isn't a bad thing, or anything like that.) However, I feel that the cloud hovering just up and to the left of Fluttershy looks a tad bid odd, mostly because the cast shadow behind it looks a bit unnatural against the shape of the other clouds. I also love how you added some other colors onto the clouds, so it's not just grey and white, which looks very dull. I see pinks, blues, and yellows being reflected onto the clouds.
I like how most of the image is relatively dark and desturated, which makes the rainbows really stand out. Though, thatt rainbow in the lower left-hand corner looks a bit odd to me, since it has such a hard edge while everything else is so soft. However, I have trouble determining what you want the main focal point to be. I would think that you'd want Fluttershy to be the focal point, but she's almost lost in the rest of the image. I love how you used lighting to achieve a warm glow on certain points of the image. Also, I noticed that Fluttershy is a similar color to the light, and the teal color dripping from the clouds is similar to the water. All in all, this is an amzing piece and a lot of work was obviously put into it. Keep up the great work!

Wow. I think this is a new favorite of mine. It looks great, I can tell there is reflected light, which newer artists tend to forget. The clouds look realistic, which is something that's hard to do. The hints of color throughout the composition keep the piece for looking to monontonous. However, the rainbow wrapping around the rock in the bottom left corner seems a bit out of place. Fluttershy also seems to be overlooked. If you weren't trying to focus on Fluttershy that's okay, but it seems that the picture would work a little better as a landscape. Aside from that, this looks great.

I think the piece as a whole is beautiful. The back ground is breath taking, however I feel the picture is more focussed on the background than fluttershy. The first thing that came to mind when I saw this was the the background and I think fluttershy deservers to play a bigger part in the piece, considering she is the subject here.
Fluttershy herself seems to express an emotion that clashes with the background (whether intentional or not.). Perhaps you might make her play a bigger role in the picture, or may be give her an emotion that shares even a bit more similarities with the picture as a whole. Other than that fluttershy looks amazing.
As for the background, I don't have much advice on that. Everything from how you directed the light to the clouds. Plus the detail you put on the rainbows and buildings is simple professional. I would like to see more art like this in the future!

Wow....
You did outstanding. It feels magical just looking at this. The detail you put into this is excellent. From the rainbow falls to the clouds that open up to let the sunlight in, it shows beauty. I see this as a message that even hope shines bright in dark places, for the sunlight breaking in from the clouds to ignite the colors of Cloudsdale to spread joy. I am a big fan of rainbows and magical pictures. This made my day and it is as if the light from the picture was there to light my life up. This is beautiful. I cried when I saw this, because it was like a message to keep going on with my life.

I usually don't like girly ponies but here is an exception...
I like the contrast on the left side, the dark and shady clouds in contrast tot the bright yellowish sunlight, and that is the first thing I noticed while I saw this image.
I like the rainbow effect on the bottom left corner, it looks like some fast character just run by here... (you know kinda like The Flash).
The cloud city in the right side is mythological, looks too much European for my taste...
The clouds look like UFOs, the color beams that they shoot at the ground kinda reminds me of that.
And the most "scary" thing is that the clouds on the left are connected via some kind of cables.

Vision: WOW. AMAZING! I literally have little to no words to describe this picture but fantastic! The lighting is spectacular and the light shining out from the clouds is a very nice touch, and the colors and rainbows flowing is a beautiful sight to look at.
Originality: You really topped this one. By Far. Everyone go home.
Technique: Do I seriously have to deal with describing the Technique? FLAWLESS. JUST FLAWLESS.

The first thing that comes to mind when viewing this piece is how bold it is: the extreme contrast, the vibrant splashes of color, the immense feeling of scale. All of these together just make this piece stand out fantastically.
The only bit that somewhat detracts from the piece at all for me would be the lack of other characters in the scene. We get the idea that it's not completely devoid of other life by the lights and the couple of balloons in the distance but seeing even just the silhouettes of a few pegasi in the background would make the piece feel more alive. I'm on the fence with Flutters, there, as well. I like that we get the idea that she's just going from one place to another but the way she doesn't seem at all impressed by her surroundings makes it hard for me to decide whether I like that it gives the idea that this amazing view is commonplace to her or if it bothers me that it doesn't seem to affect her. It's just a little nitpick about expression, I suppose. She still looks fantastic overall with that bright light there with her.
The most impressive part of this piece, to me, is the unique vision of Cloudsdale it gives us. I love that it's not just made of clouds but that it's inside clouds. It's like a separate world tucked away. The bright, cavernous opening lets us into this hidden and amazing world and the sharp contrast just heightens that sense of mystery and wonder. And then to top it off you gave it a large body of water as well! The thought that there could be a sea in the clouds just feels beautiful to me.
I continue to be astounded by your work, amazing job.

This is amazing.
There is such a thing as lineless art, which I'm given to understand is incredibly difficult to pull off well, but I've learned looks fantastic when skillfully done. What you've got here seems to take that to the next level. The lighting...if it weren't for the light, this piece might well not exist. The way you illuminate and shade gives a very real sense of the elements of the picture.
And the scale. Dear Luna. This cloudscape feels HUGE. It's not an open blue expanse, it's a city of clouds that feels as immense as a thunderhead. If you ever find yourself looking at a rolling stormfront over an open field, you get a very powerful sense of just how small you are when compared to the clouds. That impression is almost perfectly captured here. I have a feeling if I were in Fluttershy's place, I'd be keeping an apprehensive eye on everything around me.
I can't justify giving anything less than five stars in every category. You had a very clear vision in mind of Cloudsdale, and while the subject matter is far from original in the scope of the pony fandom, your portrayal of the city is something seldom attempted and far more rarely achieved. I could gush endlessly about your technique even though I already have. And in the impact category...well.

I believe that you are probably the first artists that I know of who has done a darker version of Cloudsdale! There is so much that allures the eyes as well as so much for the eyes to take in all at once! This piece is simply breathtaking! First of all, I love the character design for Flttershy and the way that you included her as a graceful part of the piece without being too prominent! I also love the way that she seenlessly blends with the amazing environment and gives the piece a sense of calm! The atmosphere that you have crafted here is what really blows me away though! The lighting and shading is magnificent and adds so much depth to the soft textures of the clouds that are present to add to the vastness! The color work is amazing and I love the way that you used bright and lush colors to help them retain their potency! The minute detail in this is stunning and I can tell that so much care was put into the design and composition, as well as the thought of making it a complete piece where every facet works together! ok, I believe people out there are like "WOW! I can't believe you drew this!" and stuff like that. it is very amazing! really like the impact you bring here its full of color and the rainbows and shading/tinting is fab so im gonna rate on high impact!
I cant draw like this in painting so that is something special you have that most people don't so yes it does look quite realistic so I think it needs high ratings on the technique
it has full in impact the "fantasy" style is pretty realistic too! except it sorta looks like it is in a box! ? I know. I don't understand myself ether. I guess I am saying it could have a more wider field of vision. (I mean things far away don't really look too far away like I could just jump there.)

This work is amassing!
It so colorful, so detailed, that I can't stop watching on it.
Every little peace of this work can be called an art. My eyes can't focus only on one thing here, they are trying to see every part of this creation.
Yes, there is a lot of works with cloudsdale, but no one of them showed us it in night and so beautiful.
As always, shading and colorfulness are great. There is a shade for every light, there is a place for every color. I can't say that anything is wrong, because work is perfect.
As I think, this work deserves 5 stars, because it is very detailed, colorful and original.

Why did I fave this? A quick review:
Vision: I love the idea that Cloudsdale isn't just open to the heat-sapping sky and actually has a shell of clouds around it to limit the amount of light it receives. It's all the charm of a subterranean environment with the idea that it's floating over the heads of flightless Equestria.
Originality: Never see the interpretation like this before, and that setting looks sufficiently well composed that it's plausible to be an actual fantasy world.
Technique: The shading, lighting and texturing are top notch and the consistency of effects is pretty much flawless.
Impact: MOAR! Also, this just makes me want to step into this world and explore it, and that's the highest praise I can offer to an art work. If I want to connect further with it, it means it's connected to something inside me.
