Description Sorry for all the study pictures, I'll try and tone them down from now on.
Just a quick 25 minute session in photoshop to make this, never really tried a snowy landscape so why not try it out now.
There's quite a few alteration i need to make in my style in order to portray a scene like this properly so i guess this was more of a fail.

How did you achieve the realistic texture to the snow, was it a texture overlay? Or a combination of different brushes with multiple layers, i see you also do this with your other pieces.

For me I often use multiple brushes either overlaying each other or I use the "dual brush" option in the brush settings. It really depends on what the texture is and testing to see which way looks better.
I believe for this i used the chalk brush and one of my Chinese style brushes to get the texture, with a bit if touching up with another chalk brush later.
I hope this gave some insight into your question.

I think this still looks really good. The sun does look a little out of place, but I like how you made the image look like it was done in watercolour.

A pretty impressive use of 25 minutes.
