Ahh I really love to see these two interacting- I just love how Peri went from feared antagonist to pretty much Steven's little sister QvQ Also, if you wanna blame anyone for me getting into Steven Universe you can blame her- The other day I saw a Tumblr post about antagonists who pulled heel-face turns that had her, some other character I didn't know, Kevin from the Ben 10 series and Zuko from Avatar. I love the latter two, so naturally I got curious- I first watched Avatar because I accidentaly found spoilers about Zuko's heel-face turn and got curious about it, and I was already thinking about taking a look at Steven Universe anyway, so I figured I'd just go ahead and do it- and now this green brat's my favorite character. I'm weak for heel-face turns

I had fun with this one!! The shading turned out kinda weird, but I like it overall- I struggled a bit with Peridot's hair also, it still looks a little off to me qvq I wanted to try drawing it the way it looks in the show since I was still getting used to drawing her, but I'll probably make it floofier next time and see how that goes.
Also, hey, look, my style's changing again q7q I just can't seem to keep a consistent style these days ahh- On a side note, it seems like every time I watch a show with a cartoonish style my art ends up taking a more cartoonish turn for some reason?? It happened last year with Gravity Falls too, and I drew everything with huge eyes back when I first watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I don't see these style changes happening when I watch anime most of the time-- unless it happens too and it's just less noticeable? Maybe anime-ish is my default or something. Is it? I dunno :v

I'll be spending the weekend with her and we'll go there- on Gakuen Hetalia cosplay! I'll be Seychelles and she'll be Nyo!Romano, I'm happy 'cause I won't need a wig for this one haha-)
