I have this thought almost in every videogame where you have to get someones gold, treasure, jewels, etc., especially when they pay nothing or little for it. X)

I honestly did not. XD Only way that wouldn't work is if they had some kind of technology that made gold plentiful... and thus, near-worthless.
But it does make all their computers resistant to corrosion.

You are right about the gold thing, who knows how much gold is worth in their world. At least of Dinosaur Planet I think it can't be that much valuable, because their currency are bugs.... X3

The bugs are everywhere though. 
1.) You have a staff to lift up heavy rocks with ease.
2.) You're still fast enough to chase the little buggers down.
3.) Other than the Sharpclaws, only you have thumbs.
Gold is probably rare because... well, how the hell do they purify it? O.o;; Doesn't extracting gold usually take some kind of smelting process? I'm not sure how this guy got so much gold...

And yes, how do they purify it, really good question! And of what use are gold bars for the high top anyway? He can't spend them, he can't eat them and how does he keep them anyway? He can't really grab them with no hands. The whole gold mission made no sense at all! D=

Eh, chalk it up to Rare's goofiness. I think there was a bit of influence from the Banjo-Kazooie games, which doesn't really fit so well with the concept here. Maybe if it hadn't had Star Fox pasted over it things would've made more sense...
...or maybe not. Still not sure how they'd purify it. Maybe magic? 'Cause that seems about as good an answer as any.

Aber das wäre ein weitaus besseres Ende gewesen, als das was wir vorgesetzt bekommen haben.
Btw..wie war deine Reaktion als auf der E3 ein neues Starfox angekündigt wurde? Hatte überhaupt nicht (mehr) damit gerechnet.

lol ja, das Ende war recht dürftig. Man durfte nicht mal gegen Scales kämpfen. Ich glaub das Problem war vor allem, dass Rare das Spiel schnell schnell noch fertig machen musste. Am Anfang des Spiels sind die Missionen und Welten noch weitläufiger und detailreicher von den Handlungen her und dann geht alles ziemlich rasch zu Ende.
Ein Videospielende wo der Held einfach plötzlich abhaut weil er ein besseres Angebot bekommt wäre schon mal was anderes XD
Ja, ich hatte auch nicht mehr mit einem Starfoxspiel gerechnet. Ich hoffe jedoch nur, dass sie designtechnisch sich etwas zurückbesinnen. Das Design in Starfox Assault ging noch, aber nach Command war's nur noch hässlich. Ich finde auch dass Fox in Smash brothers Melee besser aussieht als Smash brothers Brawl. =/
Aber ja, wenn das Gameplay stimmt könnte ich noch über mieses Design hinwegsehen. XD

Da sagste was Wahres. Ich dachte mir auch vor einiger Zeit "Meine Güte, mit etwas mehr Zeit hätte man einiges besser machen können."
Und gegen Scales hätte ich auch gerne gekämpft..aber das wurde alles rausgeschnitten als es SFA weichen musste.
Genau das hoffe ich bei dem neuen Spiel auch. Mehr wie Lylat Wars..auch Charaktermäsig.
Und was Design betrifft..da bin ich auch mal gespannt. Command hat wirklich den Vogel abgeschossen..

Oh ja. Ich verstehe es eh nicht so ganz, da ändert Rare Nintendo zu liebe ihr Dinosaur Planet in SFA ab und dann verkaufen sie Rare an Microsoft. ._.
Ja, Lylat Wars war noch ein richtig gutes Starfox Spiel. Command habe ich verdrängt, das existiert nicht für mich.... XP

Ja Retro Studios sind nicht schlecht, zumindest die Spiele die ich davon kenne sind gut, hoffen wir das Beste XD
Das Schlimme an Command war ja, dass nicht nur die Story entsorgungsbedürftig war, sondern das Design meinen Augen extrem zugesetzt hat... .____.
Wie du sagst, das Spielprinzip war gut, aber alles andere....

Ja, in Brawl geht's noch auch wenn ich das aus Melee bevorzuge.
Kann aber jetzt gar nicht genau sagen wieso, ich glaube weil es irgendwie kindlicher wirkt mit der höheren Stirn und der kürzeren Schnauze und ich das bei Fox nicht so mag.
