A world without spirit, love, happiness, peace, everything all gone. The world will only have no emotions, no one will smile, laugh, cry just have dull eyes and a forever sad frown. This apparently is the world Cyrus wants, to be god of, and I can't be able to understand the reason why.

I loved this man with a burring passion yet I can't fully understand his ideals, he had a goals and so did I but I wanted to let go mines so I could be with him so now I'm stuck not ever knowing what happened to him.

This all started with a dream...

''Uh, hey there my name is (Y/N) I guess we're partners for a month'' I nervously laugh, trying to lighten up the mood.

''..........Cyrus.. that's my name I look forward to working with you'' Cyrus retorted, holding his hand out for me to shake it, I smile a little and shake his hand. From that day on we worked together as not yet friends but partners, in high school we were partners for a project in class. The project could be anything in the subjects we had together, so our project was to see what are dreams made of.

One day I asked him a question that made me think differently about the world we live in. We were working on the project in my house on Saturday, when the news reporter started talking about team Rocket and how it took over the radio tower but then a ten-year-old pokemon trainer defeated them in Jhoto I turn the volume up and we both looked at the t.v screen.

''That's sad that they had it for two hours then it get crushed by a kid''I sympathized, Cyrus nods agreeing with what I said.
''Hey Cyrus?'' ''Hmm..?'' ''About the dream project, why did you want to do it?''

Cyrus looked to the side and stared at the window where the full moon was out tonight, then at some of the pokemon in the sea.
''....Have you ever thought of wondering what the world would be like if there were no humans or pokemon just nothing?''
Cyrus looks at me seriously, waiting for my answer to his question.
''...I just thought the world would either be grey-scale or everything would rotten cause without us, many plants and greenery can't survive''
Cyrus's eyes sparkle for a second before turning dim again.
''Then you understand, you see I've asked many people including my family about how the world would be like with no emotions, life, death, anything and I've been trying to find that answer for months but no one doesn't know''
''But Cyrus, maybe no one can't find the answer because it isn't possible to make it a reality''
Cyrus got up, and looked at the picture with all the planets in it I looked at him like he wasn't making any sense to me.

''Which is why I want to create a world, a universe that has no strife, spirit, emotions, they are the main source that causes fighting in this world of course.''Cyrus preached, determined about his statement that he was going to pursue it no matter what, I was still confused about what he was saying and argued back.
''If there's no emotions Cyrus then no one can laugh, cry, even feel love we be nothing without it''
''If it's to rid the pain and fighting of others then so be it.''Cyrus blurted, glaring at the window again, clenching his fist.

I felt sad wondering how could he think such sad thoughts, after that we finally finished our project ending it with that dreams can be anything to us and that their infinite in our minds and souls.

Weeks had passed and I started to think about Cyrus's ideas and passion about his own dream. Because of that I hanged out with him more, which my parents allowed thanks to him being a well respected student in our school.

Then I started to grew feelings about him, his eyes sparkled whenever he found something interesting that brightens my day, his smart, quick thinking which makes me think that he knows me more than I know myself, and that he's so passionate about his work that makes me hope that one day he may find me interesting.

But it won't matter since he cares more about company of machines over humans and Pokémon, and sadly after five months Cyrus changed.

I went to his house to see him, but his parents told me he ran to the garage sobbing which was strange and shocking.

''Cyrus..? Are you in here, your Mother told me you be in here?'' I call out to him hoping he could hear which he did, I hear shuffling under a blanket near the table. I walk slowly to it and slowly put my hand on the blanket, and moved it to the side that reveled Cyrus turning his back from me, silently crying.

''Cyrus..? Are you alright, what happened?''I asked softly, but Cyrus just looked at me.He was a mess, his clear blue hair was messy, his eyes were red and he looked like he hadn't slept for days.

''..T-They..'' ''They who?'' ''My parents t-they don't care about me anymore..''My eyes widen, and made a sad expression.

''What do you mean the-'' ''THEY REJECTED ME!!''
''...Cyrus''
''I guess I didn't live to my parents' expectations, so they kicked me out as punishment..'' Cyrus looked to the side, he felt so betrayed and by his family no less. I put my hand on his shoulder, he jolted a little before relaxing into my touch.

''..Hey you can live with my family..i-if you want Cyrus'' I offered, I didn't know what my parents would think about this but I wanted to help him anyway I can. Cyrus looked at the floor, thinking about deeply before sniffing and looking back at me,
''...Fine..''
I smile at him, and hugged him wiping the dried out tears from his skin.

''I'm so sorry this happened to you'' I empathized with him, trying to make him happy since I couldn't see his face as I hug him.
''Don't be my parents were worthless anyway'' Cyrus hugged me back and for once he actually smiled but I couldn't be able to see it.

Even though he was able to live with us, he gotten worse. He barley shown any emotion, he barley even spoke a word. When he actually talked when he need something, or just mumbles ''no emotions'' and stays in the guest room all the time. Sooner or later he dropped out because the pain was too much for him. All of sudden after he left school, he ran away, I caught him trying to run so I chased him down trying to catch up.

''Cyrus, where are you!!'' I cried out, forever searching him in this maze of a route. Is he running away because he's depressed, he can't take it anymore? Or maybe he wants to chase his dream either way I have to catch him or else I'll never get to see him again.

I stop to catch my breath, and sit on a rock.I hear sounds from the brushes, and hold my pokeball in case a pokemon tries to attack but instead it was Cyrus that had a small bag wrapped around him.

''C-Cyrus!?!'' ''Relax (Y/N), it's just me..'' ''But why did you ran away!Please tell me so I can hel-!''Cyrus puts his finger on my lips, cutting me off and sighs.

''I'm leaving, because I don't belong here and that I wanted to find others who share my ideas''

''But I do, and I don't want to lose you!'' ''I know you do, but you have a life, I don't want to see wasted''

''It won't be, just let me come with you!''I begged and plead but Cyrus just shook his head no, he paused for a few minutes before looking at me again.
''...(Y/N) there's something I wanted to tell you before I leave since it will be years before we see each other again''
I turned slient, anxious to know. Cyrus took a deep breath and got closer to me.
''(Y/N) I'm infatuated with you'' ''.........What?'' ''I meant that i'm in love with you''

''....w-why..'' I asked still not convinced on to what he''s saying.

''You were the first and only person who truly understand me, my ideas were insane and crazy but you never ran away.You actually cared and was not just there for my money or fame.. besides even though we both love each other I want you to be as far away from me as possible, not that I hate you, it's that I will do many dangerous things in the future I don't want you to see''
Cyrus cheeks flushed a little bit looking at his feet, nervous about what i'll say. But I was furious that he told me that I still couldn't be with him because he was doing many dangerous things.
''...You're so selfish.. why.. WHY WOULD YOU TELL ME THIS NOW WHEN YOU KNEW THAT I LOVE YOU TOO!! YOU'RE ABANDONING ME SO THINK ABOUT HOW I FEEL FOR ONCE!!IF YOU LEAVE ME THEN I'LL-!!''
Lose you..i'll never see you again, you'll be running after your dream while i'll be in chains trying to catch up but in reality i'll never be able to move..
I start crying, walking back into a tree and fall on the ground still crying. Cyrus felt ashamed to make me cry, and wanted to make me feel better, so he bend down, grab my hands from my face and kissed me.

My eyes widen but slowly closed them, relaxing into the kiss, and wrap my arms around his neck as he puts his hands on my cheeks stroking them. We soon had to stop since we were losing our breath.

''I'm sorry, I made you feel this way but I promise you that i'll come back before I finish my mission, i'll let you join me and then we'll be finally together forever'' Cyrus exclaimed, putting his hand on my forehead and kissing it making me blush deep red.
''Y-You better keep that promise Cyrus!''

''I never betray my word, now I should get going goodbye (Y/N)..''
Cyrus, got up and started to walk away, before he finally leaves me I wanted to know that i'll be waiting for him forever.
''Cyrus wait!''
I ran to him, as he turns around. I give him one last un-expecting kiss which made him step back a bit before kissing back.
''I'll be looking forward to see you again''
I said, ending the kiss. Cyrus smiles and kiss me on the cheek then starts walking away..
''As well as I, my future queen!''
Cyrus yelled, as I see his figure get smaller and smaller going far far away from me.

It's been ten years since that time, I was a engineer now and lately I been getting letters from someone unknown but I knew it was Cyrus. I heard many things about him in the news that he owns a headquarters and about his plan which even though I still think is a little insane, I support I love him after all.

After a hard day's work, I return to my home to find a another letter, I open it and my eyes widen after reading it.

''Dear (Y/N)
Come to the last place we met
I want to give you a choice before I
become God
From the Galactic team leader''

After reading it I ran to the same route where me and Cyrus made that promise, I knew the trip would be long with no flying-type Pokemon on my side but I want to see him.. no I need to see him..

When I got there I saw flags on the ground leading me where I needed to go, I ran where they were be and finally got to the area where.. Cyrus is.. he hears me and turns around looking much older, and stronger wearing a strange costume. His eyes were even more dull and grayer than before.

''C-Cyrus..''
Cyrus walks towards me, and pats my head like he's afraid to touch me.

''Good afternoon (Y/N), looks like I didn't break my promise after all..''
