So I was randomly thinking about the Iron Giant the other day even though I haven't seen that movie in years. I was originally going to have him sticking a finger up, with a bunny on top of the finger, but since he has four fingers... he ended up looking like he was flipping someone off even though he wasn't. lolSo I gave him something else to hold: the TARDIS from Doctor Who. And it turns out that, despite being just a bunch of rectangles, the TARDIS is much harder to draw than the Iron Giant. It's still pretty disproportional.
Also, I know the Iron Giant's a bit of a weird color. See, originally both he and the TARDIS were going to have sort of altered colors, like he would be various shades of gray and some red for rust, and the TARDIS would be various shades of blue with maybe some green or purple, just as a weird shading thing.
But, I didn't like the way he was turning out, and I started to think the TARDIS is really only the TARDIS if it's as blue as possible, so I just ended up making him completely rust-colored while the TARDIS remained basically the same color.
Also, terrible background is terrible. lol

I find parallel lines to be the hardest to draw, especially straight ones.
Which is why I usually cheat and use a ruler

He's really a sort of brownish red in the pic. It looked right on the other computer, but he does look sort of pink on my laptop. I guess the red was too much of an opposite to the blue, so most computers are going to view him as pink.
