In the game this picture is based on, Shadow sacrifices himself and everyone thinks he dies. Sonic gives Rouge Shadow's wrist ring and she gets really upset. He comes back later in the other games tho

The ending of that game made me cry to and sonic adventure 2 in some episodes it's based of of the game and some where from sonic dx to do basically
Sonic x is sonic dx and adventure battle 2
Shadow in sonic x comes back to life so rouge doesn't need to worry
