Electricity and Magnetism.Hmm, now it's time for Jovan himself and another member of his team - Strata, Toa of Lightning.
Jovan is the Toa of Magnetism, wore Kanohi Kadin, Mask of Flight. He led the Toa team and together they were the first who found and used Ignika, Mask of Life.
Strata is my own character. Toa of Lightning, she wore Mask of Knowledge (hadn't decided yet how it works). Well, she is very clever (and had been before she got her mask power
), and her knowledges of Matoran Universe are huge. Jovan and Xeneara are her friends, but Jovan, as it is obvious from picture, is a bit more than just friend.

Beautiful job stylizing Jovan with all his complex armor styles! His face strikes me as a bit too soft-- it could benefit from some of the sharpness and hard edges found elsewhere on his armor. After all, I don't think in story his Kadin was organic, and even the organic Kadin available in sets is a little sharper and more defined along its many spikes and ridges.
The custom mask and armor on Strata are intriguing. The Virtues Symbol on her right thigh is fairly blatant--perhaps is this the Toa of his team who will end up using the Ignika? One problem--She seems to be hovering somehow, but Jovan's arm seems to be around her too gently to hold her up.
Regardless, a beautiful and subtly romantic picture. Great job!

1. We all know that originally Kadin was not organic) And I changed it a little, though not radically. Truly, I don't think that usual masks must not be soft) What about Rau and Ruru (Great forms), or Nuva masks? Their lines are quite soft.
2. No. Symbol is just an armor design – Jovan has the same on his left arm. I think that in my further pictures Jovan's team members will have the same symbol on their armor. And maybe I'll think of how they got it))
Strata is not hovering, it's a shadow mistake. And she is not planned to be sacrificed))
I know that it would be more simple to public here some chapters of my fanfic than explain who will do it or won't, but text needs good translation and my english as you see is not perfect, unfortunately(

I agree that masks can look soft-- in fact, I think that calling the Inika masks organic was a bit of a cop-out, though I suppose it was worth it since it was not (as I initially expected) a sign of what was to come for the rest of BIONICLE. Still, the Inika masks weren't by far the most organic in regard to shape and design-- the Nuva masks probably get that award.
My problem is more in the lack of any sort of corners. It works for the mask you gave Strata, but Jovan should probably have some to look more masculine. They don't have to be sharp corners, just subtle ridges like Jaller had in Mask of Light. Flexible, but still relatively clear-cut corners.
ANd thanks for the explanation of the use of the virtues symbol. It's a neat idea.
