this is totally beautiful and you should totally paint more. I love the blotchy shading too, and their clothes!

also this made me think of Ouran lolol which is weird because I haven't thought about that in a long time.

Hey, do you mind if I use these clothing designs if there's ever a need in Drama class?
(I am a major cotume-o-phile I love to make costumes for anything and everything......)

over all the colors are really nice. i really like how you used the paint for her hair. all so it paint shows a nice draping effect for their clothes. the flowers on the sides are nice. (especially the left side) the classes are worth it! keep practicing!

My mom says its missing the 'kingly air'
She said without it it looks like some normal villagers in love or something.

that's prolly because he looks so young. this pic came out how i intended it to be, more about young love than kinglyness.

I thought this was in colored pencils in the thumbnail! Those classes surely DID pay off! The only time I did something remotely similar was when my art camp class moved outside into the garden on the side of the building, and I painted one of the statues in watercolor.

thanks. i'd like to see your picture of that statue.

during class, our teacher would bring in flowers or sample pictures and demonstrate how to draw them. we painted by mimicking her.

I don't really remember where it is. It's somewhere in safe-keeping.

My teacher does something sort of like that.
