Description Almost titled it "Sunsad Shimmer", but then it felt too cruel to make fun of her while she's down. 

I didn't plan do draw her specifically when I started scribbling, but then I had that wavy mane shape that reminded me of her, so the theme was (sun)set. 

Her flamy mane was easier to color than expected and actually quite fun. Well, I guess after dealing with Tia's mane a couple of times, most manes are comparably simple, lol.

Aww, seeing her with that long face I'm wondering why she is so sad.

She looks amazing in your style, I can see why her mane was so much fun. And yeah after Tia's mane anything else would be easier by comparison.

Her mane has a really nice flow to it. Didn't really pay much attention to it in the movie, but then again, she wasn't in pony form for all that long and her human hairstyle is quite different. I especially like her little curl in front of the horn.

Yup. They did a really sweet job on making her mane, name and cutie mark go together so nicely. Even if some people see bacon hair instead of fire.

I did. But with ponies it doesn't work all that well since their heads are round.

Yeah, I've never seen it as bacon. It always reminded me of ketchup and mustard though.
