Description This is the Ursa Minor from MLP:FiM drawn in a constellation.

For Day 30 of EqD's Artist Training Grounds, I chose to redraw the 'character from a legend' theme since the Ursa Minor is pretty legendary and I had been dying to retry the "draw using stars" technique I used in my Princess Luna drawing. This also is a gift for /u/cowofdoom, who asked that I draw him a bear.

See, now I would be a stargazer if constellations looked like this. XD

Have you ever seen the milky way from way out in the country on a really dark night? It may not have cool shapes like bears in it, but it still looks twice as cool as this. Seriously, the night sky is super amazing. But thank you, I appreciate the sentiment.

Well, that's a celestial body, which is pretty neat. I mean particularly constellations. "Scorpio" "Aries" "Orion" "Ursa Major and Minor" and all I can think is "astronomers have the most vivid imaginations." XD
