So, yeah. This was... really just a warm-up, nothing special. I haven't been drawing much for the last handful of days, other things on my mind... so I wanted to just sketch up something simple to get back into my flow, before diving into any of my projects.

I didn't have a plan in mind, I just started sketching an expression... at first I thought it looked kinda like Nala, so I started turning it into her; then realised that the lioness cub I was drawing actually was coming out more Kiara-like instead, so I adapted. So here, she's just kinda... rolling her eyes at Kion's little-brother-shenanigans, probably.

I'm always surprised when a rough sketchy thing like this actually looks good enough to clean and finish without much effort, but... there you go, I guess. It happens sometimes.
