I dunno what prompted me here; but I really wanted to do a present for you this year after you did me that great one of Lauren last year X3 And out of everything on your list, this one was the one that jumped out at me and hit me with the inspiration.
Plus, I'm very intrigued by the idea of Zuri crushing hard on Kiara, to be honest ^^
So, yeah. I figure Kiara's sort of confused; she hasn't really caught on to what Zuri's feeling and is rather puzzled when her friend comes on her all super-affectionate like this XD

Thanks! ^^ Yeah, I tend to do that when I draw someone crushing on someone else nowadays; it's not much, I just change the light-reflection shape from a normal circle to the heart, but... I'm glad that you like how it looks

I... might XD I'm just wary of borrowing too much from your headcanons; I realised a while back that I'd started relying on them in my other AUs rather than thinking things through for myself - because, you know, I was always convinced you knew better than me. Not saying you don't still, of course; but... I also figured it was about time I started thinking my own way through these things as well, you know? ^^
Still, it is kind of a cute idea - even if it leads to inevitable heartbreak for poor Zuri XD; - so... we'll see ^^
(I think it's her nose, mostly. It's a bit more 'heart-shaped' than most typical TLK lions, with only a small bridge above it, and it was working out the shape and proportion around that which gave me the most trouble XD)
