I've been working on this, then dropping it, then working again...TwT I'm happy I actually finished it (although it would still need a proper cleanup). Maybe I'll edit it and refresh in the future.Took a refference from a photo.

I love this so much. The brush strokes and the colour scheme are just beautiful.

This is really powerful to me. Especially the title, "The Last Scientist" it brings to mind the concept of unwanted uniqeness, and understanding the background of the picture brings the feeling of the desperation on a brilliant mind at war with not only itself but forces far out of it's immediate control. The blue of course brings a slight amount of comfort and sadness, but to me signifies another night worrying about the next move in a uphill battle. The background showing the begining of Aperture's, or possibly Rattman's, decay from the outermost regions to the inner core. The pose considering to accept checkmate at the only answer, but knowing it can't be an option. Not yet at least.
