Description
I was running late to work one day and this little scenario popped into my head. So I made it into a comic and threw it into one of the zines I sold at the Portland Zine Symposium a couple weeks back.The original daydream was much more elaborate, violent, and involved death and revenge, but yeahhh too long.
Done entirely in brush 'n ink. (And a teeny bit of micron pen.) Good times!

I can just imagine the kid getting out of the stroller and go Kung Fu against the girl...
Good amount of humor throughout, the drawing was well thought out, and the plot just seems to demand a sequel in my humble opinion.

God so funny. Only so because I'm pretty sure the jogging mother's close relatives are the chavette where I come from. They wear tracksuit bottoms, (though don't see em jogging much if at all) push prams about and often scream at their kids. So I like it in my own way. XD

I think everyone has had these thoughts of being able to perform epic moves in order to get somewhere on time, maybe not quite this violent
I really like how easily the action in this flows; relies so strongly on the expressions, which by the way are just awesome.

In the original daydream there was a long epic battle and then I stab the mother with my half of the broken sword, then as I look down at her body the baby stabs me with the other half of the broken sword, and then it starts to rain.
And then I realized that was way too depressing.
But more importantly it didn't leave room for a sequel!
