*tiger walks towards a forest clearing where he sees a monkey sitting on some rocks*
The monkey turns out to be a therapist as he asks the tiger to lay down on a mossy log; which he does*
Therapist: so tell me, what's been bothering you this week? Is your pride being rebellious now that the wet season is here? Fur turning grey? Got that dry nose? A buck made fun of you after you failed to hunt it, didn't it?
Tiger: well you see doc, I've been thinking.
Therapist: yes? Don't be shy, we're pals here.
*looks towards the invisible audience and whispers* unless you try to hunt me down and to try to eat me that is. Oh ho, go predator and prey days.
Tiger: *sighs* will I.... go extinct?
Therapist: ..........well that's hard to say. What part of the family are you apart of?
Tiger:*looks at his reflection in the pool next to the both of them* Bengal variety.
Therapist: well *pulls out book from out of nowhere* according to page 67, though tigers in general have faced deforestation, disease, and poaching, the Bengal population has grown in recent years. Especially in regions located in Nepal, parts of India, other parts of southeast Asia, and even some islands in the south Pacific.
Tiger:.......wow, that actually boosted my confidence. Thanks doc!
Therapist: hey, I try to help those who need it. Now if you don't mind, I can collect your payment.
Tiger: knock yourself out.
*therapist proceeds to jump on tiger's back and begins eating ticks as he punches in numbers in a calculator, as he eats each one. He eventually stops, jumps back to the rock and shakes the tiger's paw.*
Therapist: see you next week. In an hour I've got an appointment with a peacock and crocodile having marriage problems. "Acts sarcastically" I wonder why? *chuckles*
Tiger: *chuckles* sure thing. But before I go, I have one question.
Therapist: Ask away.
Tiger: how're you able to read even though you're a monkey who's spent his entire life in the jungle?
Therapist: it's best not to question it. Somethings are best left unanswered.
Sorry, but they way the tiger looks, I assume that's the situation it would be in.
