Found in any climate with an average temperature over 10 degrees Celsius
Eats ash and cinders and other burnt things as well as conventional slug food
Common in Northern, Eastern and Central realms
As a mating display, the Firefloater drastically raises its body temperature to the point that it glows and floats in mid-air. Males compete to shine the brightest and hottest to attract a mate. They should not be touched at this stage, as they can cause severe burns due to their heat.
