Originally 2nd Spanish Republic AKA Spanish republican, assimilated to the reunified Kingdom of Spain under Fransisco Franco in conclusion of Spanish civil war on 1939 (note the black cross fin flash, which still present on Spanish Hornets today)

Thanks! yes it is indeed a postwar rata, assimilated from the republican into the unified spanish air force
I happened to have a can of red paint left from previous ship building, so why not? i think it could be better if i use a little putty before sanding
