Description My best Karma piece yet.

I feel I've made drastic advancements in shading and maybe even conformation of equines as of late. I'm so, so happy with this piece! I never feel I do Karma justice, yet here she is in all her splendor.

This deviation is dedicated to my dear friend, Gillian, who recently suffered the loss of her father. My deepest condolences, Gilly, and may he rest in peace.

I apologize for the possible shadows and blurriness. My scanner is far too small for my sketchpad, and I will rescan this if need be in the near future.

You already know I love it but I'll let you know anyways Gorgeous! Love the coloring job, the neck muscles especially popped out to me, and her head is beautiful Beautiful, bright red on her too, I like it much better than what you used to do.

Hehe, thanks, Andrea! The color I used to do was more orange-y, I believe. Glad you think the shading is getting better! I love her head as well, and this is the first depiction of Karma I truly like.

This.. is.. absolutely.. AMAZING.
You're best yet! I love, love, love that neck and head! Beautiful movement, and flow of the mane and tail; you can really get a sense of her beauty and elegance. Even though I always knew she had it, you've captured it here! Now I'm not sure I'll ever do her this much justice in my breeding installments.
She looks very mature, filled out, and lovely. This is something I would pay to have hanging in a frame on my wall.

Oh, thankyou so much, BGB! That means a lot to me. I definitely think that this is my best yet, at least for coloring's sake. And it was a relief to finally capture her essence through a new color combo and the pose. And your last statement... wow! That is the ultimate flattery, and I greatly appreciate it!

You shading and anatomy really have improved, Karma looks so beautiful here! She looks so bright and strong, and her long mane and tail look so illustrious. I love how you did her face too.
