Paper Mario holds some of the weirdest and darkest stuff I've ever seen.

Naw, anyway, great picture, and I like the use of colours!

Ok so I'm absolutely kicking myself that I haven't commented on this sooner, but it was one of those pictures that I felt deserved a more thoughtful comment, so I've sort of been putting it off. x'D
N-E-WAI.
I am absolutely FLABBERGASTED by the amazing number of characters you managed to fit in here and STILL KEEP THEM LOOKING AWESOME. Especially that Kooper guy and Bowser, Mmmmyeah.
The expressions in this are amazing, as always and your stylised shading is glorious. c':
Also.
The detail in that wood on the stage.
Did you seriously draw all of that because. . . Wow. Just. . . WOW.
And lol Luigi. I laugh at you hiding down there. HAHA.
But Mel, you did an absolutely fantastic job on everything here. Your style just makes me so. . . JOYFUL.
I've never played this game before, but this fine piece of art makes me, SURE AS HELL, wish I had.
And I don't think any of that made sense. . .
Cheerio~

Ah hah, but thank you very muchhh. C': <333 AND LOL OHGOD NO I just drew it on like a quarter of the stage, got lazy, copied parts of it, and used this brush in GIMP that takes whatever you've copied as and makes it. . .The brush lol. DON'T YOU KNOW ME BETTER THAN THAT FFF, so lazyyy. But I figured its too small to notice really. ;D
Oh dat Weegee, always in the shadow of the spotlight. D':
BUT FFF thanks againnn. C': Bah hah, WELL you should give it a try one of these days, I bet you'd like it IT FEELS LIKE A NYLIIR SORT OF GAME TO ME. :'U

This is awesome! I love the nickelodean cartoon style! And I think it's great that you included some bad guys too. My favorites in your pic are Luigi, the turtle guy who's all beat up and the purple witch who likes Mario (she looks like she's melting for him!)

Yessss. This is definitely one my favorite games. It is in my top three: first is Mother 3, then comes The Wind Waker, then comes The Thousand Year Door. That's quite an exclusive lists if I do say so myself. And Nintendo, as they did with my other two favorites, truly outdid themselves. Such charisma and humor! A damn fine game!
-throws hands in air-
Have you played Super Paper Mario yet, if you don't mind me asking? I've yet to play it myself... guh...
Anyways! You seriously did a great job on this one. This piece clearly took a lot of time and effort, and I'd say that your strongest skills shine through. You've got the hilarious expressions and the all-over-the-place poses (though I do agree that some are a tad stiff), and you even took the time to add some little textures to this one. The texturing on the floor and stage? Yes please! Hell there's just so much to look at that I can't help but scroll up and stare again. Tis a great piece, man, I do say that you did marvelous. It brings back some great memories...
OH LOOK and you even took the time to add Ishnail. Uuuuugheeeughadgalkgja. I always loved that snaily fellow. :]
Haha good job overall. You get a fave and a nice old thumbs up, and my many commendations. Congratulations on finishing!

(Aw, Motherrr 3, I've always wanted to play that game, I've heard so many good things about it but I was confused as to how you get a translated version or whatever, hah. . .) BUT YES definitley. :'D
Ah, yes, I have played that. It was somewhat of a disappointment because it didn't have the feel of the first two, being a platformer, of course. The character designs were also too simplistic and blocky to really catch my interest, and I was really unhappy to find the "partners" were really just tools blah. But it was by no means a bad game, the gameplay was great, classic Mario, and it still had that great writing. Less of it, but still had all that humor, and the villains were great. And you got to play as Bowser AND NOT JUST IN MINI STAGES and minimal Wii controls usage yesss. BUT ITS BEEN AWHILE since I played it so I'm probably forgetting a lot lol.
Ah, thank you very muchhh. :'D (Ah hah, yeah, I thought so. I should've realized that was going to happen in jamming all the lineart on a piece of printer paper fff I can't draw smallllll) Ah, hooray, some one noticed those stage textures, the effort was not all in vain yayyy. ;'D
OH YES he may be tiny and shittly drawn, by, by George, he's there. C':
Ahgeez, thanks again, hah! :'U <333

I know I would, ahhh, from hearing just a little about it. . .AHFFF I'll have to play them eventually. . .WOULD YOU know where to get ROMs of them? . . .Safe ones, because last time I downloaded a ROM it killed my computer ugh. . .
Yeah, they're quite a bore, I don't even think they really talk like AT ALL either fff. But you've got this butterfly named Tippi following you around. . .Three other people you can play as that I'm not sure I can name BECAUSE IT MAY BE A SPOILER I don't even know lol. So that fills in the gaps a bit. . .Yeah, I'd say so, its still a fun game, one of the best on the Wii thus far, though that's not saying much I suppose. C; And WELL there's still quite a bit of dialogue and a strong story, but combat-wise, its a platformer. No turnbased battles or anything, y'know? . . .GAH but I feel I'm forgetting some things. . .
Awpssh, thanks again. C': But I think that's where I went wrong; I didn't plan it out as much as I should've, lol. D':

Ah hah, well thank you very much then. :'D
Ah, no problem. c; But yeah, it was weird, but I'm thinking/hoping it was just a little experiment, y'know, to try something different and switch things up, and the next game will return to the RPG format. . .At least, it should. D:<
