Peaceful. Are you doing studies of light and shade or taking a break from the regular humdrum? I like the fall colors on the ground contrasted by the cooler colors of the darker tree.

I started on this series to explore my painting technique, and work on non-figurative pieces. Exploring ighting has been central to the process. Oh, and they are a great break from the commissions.
