"You may think you control your own destiny adventurers, but really...'

I had great fun imagining the Illithid's (mind flayer) lair, aan his dungeon plan laid out before him. The perspective adds drama and interest, whilst the saturated light sources pull the eye around the image.

This painting was also jury selected for inclusion in Spectrum 19.

Me and my friends... It be cool if it looks that way - no 4 nerds playing with plastic/wood thingies and arguing over some dices and forgetting all arguments after couple beers XD

Of course its a mindflayer! It all makes sense now!

Words cannot descibe howfantastic this picture is. I'e been playin 4e D&D for about 15 months now and I believe that you have captured the atmosphere of some of those trecherous dungeons perfectly. I can't believe the sheer amount of detail in the room and the Master's possesions. Truly worth the fave a dozen times over.

This is so good that I will use it for the Mindflayer villain of my campaign (he does see everything after all). Very fitting and great artwork.

One thing I can't un-see however: It looks like he's wearing a skull-shaped slipper on his right foot. XD

Title: Twenty years gone by and still, admitted or denied, each of the original group has this moment where agony and longing shatter the ego... the moment one wants to return to past joy... no matter the career, women or drugs which were achieved in the meanwhile... Oh, nice painting!

If anyone is wondering why great evil demons tend to give heroes a fighting chance,well... the answer is simple!
Whats the point of unlimited cosmic power if you get bored? Need heroes to make things more lively, and if htey beat you, well, then, you were never meant to be the Worlds/galaxies/universes/multiverses most evil villain.
He looks awesome
