Wow, this is looking really nice! I have started with card alters myself, and am making sort of good progress. Maybe you could give me a few tips? I like to use markers as my primary coloring utensil, but to me the results seem... amateurish. I think I will need to switch to paints, right?
Also, any tips on preserving text boxes with rounded edges (p/t box, name box)? I don't have much problem with the straight lines that encompass the art on the card, but those round edge boxes are hard not to mess up. Oh btw I like to use acetone to completely erase sections before I work on them.

Oh I've never tried markers... it's a different style for sure but if you want to be seemless, I'd recommend acrylics for sure 
I don't erase anything, I just go right on the card with the paint. but to each his own technique
