Description
Prototype Portal from Scars of Mirrodin. With this piece I tried to work in more of the story from the set. Unfortunately, by now I've forgotten the name of left the Planeswalker on the left, or the artifact in the ring. I'm probably not allowed to talk about it, or things may have changed, so it's probably for the best.Copyright Wizards of the Coast.

Staff of Domination is the artifact surrounded by the chrome goo, and Venser is the Planeswalker on the right pulling that Neurok artificer, with the red dawn of Mirrodin, Sky Tyrant, shining just above them. Awesome piece, really true to the spirit of the original Mirrodin sets, great job.

She wasn't meant to be any one specific -- just a blue mage Venser didn't want getting involved with a corrupted artifact duplicator.

Looks like Garruk there on the left. Giving the Heimlich Maneuver to some silly berk who drank the mercury.
