Description The pages with the Well of Souls (as seen in Hercules) will be in color so it'd be easy for readers to identify the setting when they see it, as opposed to grayscale.

Even some of the happiest folks in the world have had their share of insecurities...

Oh Mickey Poor little guy... Yeah, he always seems so happy I have to wonder...

Even in Epic Mickey, after the Blot yanked his heart out, he wasn't near this tense.

I kinda like the green background with the characters staying white. Makes them pop up more and it's like you said, the setting is more recognizable that way.

Oh boy looks like those two have some talking to do before they cook up a plan to get out. No use in stopping the bad guys if the heroes can't work together as a team. Guess we'll all have to wait and see how this ends up.

I really like the diaglogue in this. Although there has been a few pages now where the diaglogue has been, purposly, been very little or left out, in this page the diaglogue between the two is short and to the point.
In other words the textbubbles aren't cramped with to much exposition and such. Which is a good thing. For the reader it keeps things nice and clear.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks! I'm minoring in creative writing in college, so it's great to see that it's strong here.

Soon, you'll see a more direct answer to why Mickey is so rattled up.

If I was a guest in the park and I saw that attack happen, I would hide somewhere and stay in the park...i know it would be suicide to do it but, I would stay and help...

Lol, I doubt you'd get far. The villains don't want any humans in there while they're taking over. They'd rather fight with toons.

Oh, don't worry, I'd be hiding in one of the shops watching...is it possible to be in it like a little intruder that pisses off the villains when they find out? XD By then, that shield wouldn't let me out...let alone in if i was outside...lol so I'm pretty screwed and so are the villains...they couldn't get rid of me...unless Dr. Facilier decied to take my soul or something, then I'd be really screwed...

I'd have something those shadows fear, light. Scare their butts away...i'd imagen if I was caught, it would be trying to save a toon...XD they could only lock me up or kill me...most likely lock me up or something...XD I'd save Eugene if he was in danger, and then I would be screwed...lol

I'm really interested in what could be unnerving enough to make Mickey lash out like that.

You'll find out soon...

What do you think of the glass effect I used in one of the panels?

Karalora In reply to RaltheCommentator [2013-01-03 02:05:32 +0000 UTC]

Panel #5, right? It looks like textured glass like you get in some fancy windows or sliding doors.

RaltheCommentator In reply to Karalora [2013-01-03 02:06:18 +0000 UTC]

Well, as long as it looks like glass, that's ok with me ^^

Well, it's not just the trickery that's gotten Mickey all rattled up, as you'll see in the next page.

Let me guess, it's the fact that he feels like he's failed Walt, right? I bet Oswald feels the same way but he's not showing it in order to be strong for his brother.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RaltheCommentator In reply to Aqua-Melody101 [2013-01-03 05:32:37 +0000 UTC]

Close, but it's more than that. It DOES have to do with Walt, though.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aqua-Melody101 In reply to RaltheCommentator [2013-01-03 05:50:41 +0000 UTC]

Ooo, toughie... The fact that Walt left Mickey alone and that Walt let this happen or something?

RaltheCommentator In reply to Aqua-Melody101 [2013-01-03 05:53:02 +0000 UTC]

Closer, but still not right.

Aqua-Melody101 In reply to RaltheCommentator [2013-01-03 06:01:53 +0000 UTC]

Awww, lol. The only other thought I had was that he seems frustrated that Oswald isn't showing as much concern or emotion or frustration as Mickey is. Or maybe he's mad at Walt for creating the villains in the first place? Eh, probably still not right but I'm running out of guesses lol.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RaltheCommentator In reply to Aqua-Melody101 [2013-01-03 06:13:49 +0000 UTC]

No, and no. XP I'll give ya a clue: Walt is in heaven, but where are his animated offspring?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aqua-Melody101 In reply to RaltheCommentator [2013-01-03 06:21:24 +0000 UTC]

Ohhhhh when you put it that way it seems obvious lol (ahhhh you must think I'm an idiot lol) So basically the fact that they still can't be together thanks to the villains. I thought Mickey would be more concerned about the villains taking over at first but that makes sense too.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RaltheCommentator In reply to Aqua-Melody101 [2013-01-03 06:38:03 +0000 UTC]

No I don't. Could happen to anybody. ^^ I'll make it more clear in the next page.

Aqua-Melody101 In reply to RaltheCommentator [2013-01-03 13:39:34 +0000 UTC]

Still, I should've seen that.

I can see Oswald comforting a crying Mickey at some point. Wonder if Walt's gonna come save them if they can't escape on their own.

NHarmonik [2013-01-02 21:02:16 +0000 UTC]

The lower hands in the second panel look wrong. Like they're not attached to Oswald...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RaltheCommentator In reply to NHarmonik [2013-01-02 21:03:32 +0000 UTC]

They are, you just can't see all of Ozzie's torso since Mickey is knealing on top of his hands (or the closest thing to knealing since he has a ghostly tail and no legs XP )

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

NHarmonik In reply to RaltheCommentator [2013-01-02 21:08:25 +0000 UTC]

Ah, I see. I got confused because Mickey's torso is about the same shape as Oswald's head.

...I wonder if those other souls would be willing to help.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RaltheCommentator In reply to NHarmonik [2013-01-02 22:18:49 +0000 UTC]

Well, for some reason, Mickey and Oswald are the only ones who can still move about rather than just floating around with the other "mortals." It's just one of those qualities that makes toons like Mickey so unique.

I get it now. ^^ Well, I doubt the boat would get far since Hades put a thick, glass wall right above the Well of Souls so that no soul could get out, and nobody else could get in.
