Farfalla, one of my favorite characters of all time. (Not mine, though. XD She's all =sighthoundlady 's)I was thrilled to get to draw her, and I had just seen The Last Unicorn for the first time, which JUST MAY have influenced the BG a little bit. :[ I've never done a waterfall before, I think it turned out okay. I had fun with the grass too, I tried for a shorter, velvety texture. And the sky is yellow with stars because that's awesome.
Super fun piece!

I love your horses because, they look so...fantasy like, but at the same time realistic. Its amazing

My shading is a mix, really. There's no science to it. There's some painting-type technique to it and some cel shading, it's a little different every time XP
