This is one of the most vibrant and fun-looking scenes I've worked on! Big thanks to the patron of this one ^^.

This scene was meant to depict a boat race in a lake where two Viera sail at trepidating speed, so I went for very short animation frames to convey that. I also drew some simple water textures, but discarded them when I saw how well the plain color matched the simplicity of the FF Tactics pixel style, and so I left it like that... at first. I thought it was a tad bit too simple, and so I remembered a charming trick from one of my favourite Zelda games, Wind Waker. Amazing what a few white twirls can do! Thanks again!
