Description This journey may just have started a few days ago but it has already made an impact on me. This forest is old and untamed but walking trough it I cant help but to admire the rugged beauty it provides. The wind brings with it all the diffrent smells of the forest as birdsong relaxes my mind. This traquility puts my thoughts on a more philosophical level. Like why do I leave my home, family and friends to go on this journey, what is it that Im searching for? Is it adventure? Do I seek solitude? Maybe I feel like I am missing apart of myself that I need to find? Or perhaps its just wanderlust and the drive to discover new things and see new places. Whatever the reason I know that I will know it when I find it.

So I may or may not have spent to much time on this picture but it was for a greater purpose and that purpose was to get better at making backgrounds. Even so I think I am going to make more of these pictures and continoue the "journey" that I have sent my OC on .
Enjoy

Yay! I love writing critiques! Let's start!
First, I think the background is awesome. Its drawn really well, I can't draw trees so I admire you so much but thre is always a weak point and here i is too. It's definately the bridge. Stones are nearly NOT shaded... But except it background is okay xD
And about the character... It's okay I guess? I cant see it closer, but seems to be really pretty, also shaded very well. And of course mane! I love how you draw hair, really! Also there are clothes, that are awesome too. Shading on the cape may be a bit darker, but it's okay.
Only really ba thing here I can spot is shadow under the pony, because it's placed wrong. Should be placed more in direction of viewer, because that is how light goes (or at least how it seems to go).
Summing, it's awesome drawing, wiith few lacks in shading, but I still love it!
