So this. This...is my attempted tryout at SRON. THAT DIED. DDD:My hand is about to too, but...that's besides the point. My internet randomly dies, so...I should have safety saved (but the way to do it was wierd and I'd probably screw it up).
But...I like the line art and the idea enough, so...I figured I'd post it. Even if it's not done. And the more I look at it, the more mistakes I find. >>;; The girl there is obviously the work of someone who hasn't really drawn a girl in a while DD: (like...as much as she has guys LOL).
I might...go and try to do something with it in photoshop. But I don't know. And, I don't know who these people are LOL. They're scavaging for...stuff...and the world is like...dead, but, other than that...no story. Ha ha.

It's still ramhay. xDD I'm uncreative, so I just stick with what I got >>;; (it's usually either that or "ashleyhyn", which is what I was on SROA when I started trying out *never finished*.)
You should tryout. It wouldn't hurt anything, and you'd probably get some good advice even if you didn't get accepted (I have no idea what the standards are, though >>;; ). My thing about tryouts is that I have a distinct lack to be able to put out a whole lot of effort (like drawing backgrounds LOL). xD But...I'd like the crit. so...yeah. xD

Errrmm...basically these three guys are looking for parts or something because they're in a like...post-apocalyptic type world where there's like a huge war going on or something. They guy with short hair was messing with the giant...machine thing they're looking in and broke off a panel. The guy with long hair is like the "leader" kind of who gets annoyed easily and who is PO'd currently at short-haired guy because he always touches and breaks things. The girl is just a tagalong sort who's good with mechanics but is more interested in the little robot she found.
I had originally meant for them to be characters who actually, kind of, have a background story but they didn't really look like them (I still haven't figured out how they really look, though) >>;; If that were the case, though, the two guys would be like refugee/criminal soldiers. The girl would be the same. DD:

SRON is an oekaki that you have to tryout for. It stands for Suta-Raito Oekaki Normal or something >> I'll probably change it to S-R Oekaki in the desc. so it's not so confusing xDDD

SRON is the Suta-Raito Oekaki Normal (I think), that you have to tryout to draw on >>;; I'll probably change the desc. to say S-R Oekaki, to save later confusion xDD

Actually you only need to worry about the weird safety saving in SROA.
Which you coudl totally get into.
The way SRON and Sutaro do it is theres a safety save feature when you hit submit. SO IT HIDES HTE PICTURE FOR YOU without having to do any mumbo jumbo. If you mail an admin on there i'm sure they could upload the picture for you and you could try to salvage it because you'd prolly get in with jsut this one picture. Its that awesome.

I've started to try out for SROA before, but I only ended up doing two tryouts. I don't think my work ethic can last me for the full amount. LOL.
The oekaki at TGN has a feature like that - but, I had read the rules on SRON and it mentioned the wierd way to safety save, so I assumed that it didn't have the special feature. I might message one of the admins, but I thought you couldn't upload tryouts? >>;; I dunno, though. I might just try a different idea and finish this one in photoshop. D: THANK YOUUUU~

upi can upload tryouts if they have been drawn on the oekaki and lost. Because we've all lost a picture and been like AW DAMMIT.

Aww YES. There's a possibility that I might just do that. If I waited like a week after the fact, would they still upload it (I still have a screen shot that shows the whole background of the oekaki anyway, so they'll know where it's from LOL)?? I have no time during this week to work on it. D:

I'm fairly certain that they would upload it. They are very nice people there. And they will love you more since you read the rules about trying out. :] many people don't read the rules.

Ha ha, glad the pink is okay - in oekaki, I always use pink for my base sketching. I don't know why. xDD I couldn't get rid of them, this time, though, because I lost it. >>;;
