Description
Personally, the ultimate PoD behind this post is that most of the Mascarene Plateau remained afloat as Seychelles Island (or microcontinent); the second PoD is that the French-speaking pirates settled permanently in the island's eastern coast with their native wives (mostly Indians and Africans, from their raids) in the 17th century, a century before the formal colonization of the island by France. Thus, the ATL Seychelles retained their predominantly Creole culture, particularly the way they speak French.

Anyway, the flag of this alternate Seychelles is simple: I combined the first Seychellois flag and the coat of arms of the country (courtesy of Sodacan ). Personally, I found the first Seychellois flag distinct and attractive.
