As already indicated in the post title itself, the name of an Austronesian-speaking Fujian, which in this scenario includes the whole Zhejiang, Shanghai and southern part of Jiangsu is Butsul, the OTL endonym of the Paiwan people, one of the Indigenous Taiwanese groups; in this case, Butsul languages are spoken in that vast region, given that they're (perceived) as descendants of proto-Austronesian.


The modern-day Butsul national flag is actually an actualization (or Westernization) of the design that already been used in the country, with the same colors and the small-seal script form of the character 虫 (chóng/thâng) in the center.
