- Coat of Arms of (modern-day) Kongo

NOTE:

This post was made more almost four years ago (3rd August, 2016), so there would be noticeable difference in alternate history scenarios in relation to sub-Saharan Africa, kingdom of Kongo included, with current times (e.g. modified variant of Bantu expansion, where outside present-day Cameroon, the Bantu clans were linguistically assimilated).

Imagine if the Kingdom of Kongo remained until today: It would occupy almost the same territory as its OTL counterpart, with the possibility that Cabinda would become the capital (and metropolitan region) of the ATL kingdom.

Since there is an attributed flag for the said kingdom, which is more or less a variant of the St. Andrew's Cross (or more accurately, St. Patrick's Saltire , I thought of adapting the latter with the coat of arms of the (ATL) Kongo at the center.
