Tumblr | Facebook | Etsy | Artstation | InstagramCharacter commission for a Pathfinder roleplaying group, an elven mage. I tried a more loose painting style with colourful overlays that I currently like very much. I've been drawing mostly half-body portraits lately so a full-body view was nice for a change. There's also Tonar, a player character for the same group.

This is my third time trying to think of something intelligent to say about this piece and I'm having trouble putting it into words. I don't know, I just like it.
Especially the costume design: It's very dignified, and ornate enough to be interesting but so much as to be busy or impractical.

I know that problem...
Pathfinder characters often put me in the position of wanting to keep the style of the game (loaded with more trinkets than could be realistically carried - but fun to look at), and following my need to make things look doable. Mages are a little easier, they don't need flintstones, waterbottles, etc. 
And dignified is what I do. I should start a hashtag.
