Yakuwari is a young teenage boy from Japan who strives to become a magical boy someday. He adores delving into anything relating to magic, including magicians, magical girl shows, wizards, and witches. He tends to practice his magic tricks during his spare time, as well as LARP, play RPG games, and watch anime. At the age of 14, he became a pastel goth, since he feels as though it perfectly matches his gloomy yet colorful aura. Yakuwari is a massive introvert who only hangs out with her cousin, Umiko, for they both enjoy anime and roleplaying together.

Personality wise, Yakuwari is a generally timid boy who is often unhappy and would frequently suffer from intrusive thoughts as a result of his brooding nature. He is not very courageous and struggles with trusting people due to being anxious of people judging him for his outward appearance or strong desire to become a magical boy.

He is always modest and will try whatever he can to make people feel comfortable around him.
