As you all know, I attended Anime North 2010 this weekend. For my cosplay, I did the female form of Taito (Taiko) from the VOCALOID series. The costume was a mix of two designs. The skirt, striped knee socks, boots and headband from the artist Kasuiboku, and the jacket, long hair from the artist Fortuna.It was also very windy that weekend, so hard to keep the long wig from tangling, but perfect for photographs since the jacket flared out a considerable amount when the wind picked up.

I wasn't able to make it to the photoshoot. I don't live in Toronto so traveling back home takes some time. I would have loved to have stayed though! Sounds like you guys had fun times~

She's probably go get icecream too. Afterall, she is Kaiko based and therefore would like icecream. I think? I've only ever seen fanart of her eating lollipops, never icecream xD
Yes! That is a Digimon in the background. Got a good photo of him because his costume was awesome. There were more Digimon them him running around, and same with Pokemon xD Someone dressed up as Tropius and I was all asgdhasgd where is the Meganium?! D8

I did have lollipops with me too. Didn't eat them because they were all melty from the trip down. It was a hot weekend that they didn't survive! D8

Thanks! It was more amazing when it flares out in the wind. Searching for pics of it now because I know in about most the wind was rushing past the coat the moment they snapped a shot.

Great weekend! Nothing too epic happened but all in all it was enjoyable. Feet are killing me and I have a sunburn but it was all worth it. So many nice compliments I heard from everyone there about my costume <3
