I painted some roses and leaves freehand without sketching first and it doesn't look too bad. I used a new set of winsor and newton cotman watercolours which a friend gave me since they don't like watercolours. I do still prefer my van gogh watercolours though because overall they seem to be a lot more pigmented.Related content
