This was one of the highlights of the Goodwood hill climb this year, a lot of people were talking about it around and after the show. Reviving the old 'Alpine' brand, Renault brought this awesome looking car to the show as the Alpine A110-50 concept.Word on the street is that this is going to spawn a production version, costing in the region of £40,000. Let's hope they don't tone it down too much, as is the tradition from production versions of great looking concept vehicles.

I think I'm kinda in love with that car, and the hopeful news of it spawning a production car that costs 40k is very exciting. Because in the grand scheme of insane sports cars, that -really- isn't all that bad. Like, dangerously affordable such that reasonably normal people could actually dream about being able to own one. I think my dream garage just got one space bigger.
Really love how this shot came out, the profile is perfect. And having seen the original you started from and had a lot of trouble with overexposure that day too, I can safely say you did great on the post-processing too!

It was difficult to get the look right on this photo. The bright colours combined with some unfortunate overexposure meant that it was really difficult to make the shot look real in any capacity at all. It was almost like some scene out of Speed Racer! I managed to claw it back to this, which I was pretty pleased with. Glad you like it!

Hehe! Well if we're talking pure fantasy dream garage, there's always room for one more. If we're talking 'half-serious might actually be able to own in my lifetime' on the other hand... well, I'll have to see what Renault do with the idea for around 40 thousand pounds and how it stacks up. Might potentially give the Scirocco/RCZ/RX-8/etc. crowd a run for their money.

*grins* I think the expansive grounds of my dream castle should have more than enough room for all our dream fun things. It's good to dream big after all!
