Description I've already picture this one in Geneva earlier this year, but this is the first time I've been able to photograph the Koenigsegg One:1 actually in action, this time on the hill climb at Goodwood. So named because it manages that milestone performance benchmark of 1hp per kilogram of weight, the One:1 can manage the 0-60mph sprint in just 2.8 seconds, will go on to reach 200mph in just 20 seconds, and has a top speed somewhere north of 270mph!

Dude, do you know how hard it is to get to the Goodwood Festival of Speed?

One of the perks of living in the UK! Still, for everyone who lives a bit further away, I'm glad to be able to share this small slice of the experience.

Man... I live in North America...

Also, The One:1 is the fastest car in the world with 280.2 mph.

Yeah, them's the breaks...

Someone else mentioned the top speed on a photo I had from the Geneva Motor Show this year but as I mentioned at the time, my information came from before the top speed was verified, at which point they only knew that it would exceed 270mph. Looks like they now managed to find a stretch of road long enough to properly test it! Sadly, though, there are reportedly quite a few cars that can best it in the initial sprint to 60mph, such as the Porsche 918 and McLaren P1. Still, it's an amazing technical achievement!

I know... but I like the Hennesey Venom more, despite being a Lotus Exige ripoff.

Random this is ChrisCLX, this is my new account. I was just at Koenigsegg's HQ some days ago and got to see the car in person myself and sit inside of it. Its quite an amazing piece of engineering.

Fuck you, Dark! I am now jealous that you rode inside a Koenigsegg!

I think I would have passed out from the sure awesomeness if I heard that engine. I got to sit in it but not ride in it while it was driven. But still was around a koenigsegg.

But do you know a Koenigsegg factory in the United States, or at least North America?

Theres only one factory and thats in Angelholm Sweden. I was there and talked to them. They bring all the cars there to be serviced and what not. And they build them all there of course and they practically engineer everything there.

All the other things you see in different countries are communication hubs.

Well then, welcome again! Pretty lucky of you to get to go to the HQ in Sweden, that must have been one heck of a trip! I assume you're connected with the industry in some way?

I was in sweden on an internship with Volvo Car Corporation, working with the new products they have coming up. Literally it was not an organized visit. I just drove an hour from Gothenburg with a friend from work down to Angelholm, and literally we just walked right in and asked. Normally they turn down tours but since they had nothing else going on really and we are in the car industry, they ran us through a little factory tour. Got to see a couple of the 6 made one:1 cars and that CCR that I am in the picture with. As well a CCXR that just had its body redone with carbon fiber, it looked beautiful.
